In 2015, I teamed up with creative minds at rabble+rouser to create a cookbook for Weber Grills. My main task was to manage the design of the project. With 300 pages to produce, I had to streamline work; I utilized my knowledge of Indesign and implemented master pages and paragraph/character styling. Organization was key as I was every receiving photos and content. And, as I earned the trust of the team, I was able to step into an art direction role. My previous role at EveryDay with Rachel Ray prepared me. I soon was providing photo and prop direction. I also redesigned layouts in order to adapt to content. Overall, the finished product looked amazing. But what made me feel the most successful was when the Creative Director told me that the author had never acknowledged a design in the past.
